I graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 2003, but this book is filled with advice for getting into any service academy: the US Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Coast Guard Academy, or Merchant Marine Academy. Thousands of people have made that journey, and this book will let you learn from their experiences and allow you to avoid the mistakes that could cost you acceptance. In addition, I will address special cases, such as enlisted applicants, home-schooled applicants, foreign students, and others.
Although completing your degree at a US service academy is difficult, it is extremely rewarding for those who have the determination and character to make it through. As a young adult, it is one of the best things you can do for yourself.
