Abby shows great responsibility in reading her hamster guide to make sure they handle the now Mrs. Nibbles and her offspring properly. She also arranges for Tess to choose one of the babies to be a pet in her own class. This is a satisfying and fast-moving story with quite a bit of factual information about the care and handling of hamsters.
